We celebrated Father’s Day with our children and parents. We played fun games like spoon walking with eggs, blindfold matches, and rope pulling (the dads especially loved this one!). The children also gave their fathers the special photo frames they had been making. As a result, children built confidence, strengthened their physical skills, and experienced the joy of working and celebrating alongside their families. These activities link to Te Whāriki (Wellbeing – enjoying a sense of belonging; Contribution – working together and celebrating achievements) and STEM as children explored balance, movement, problem-solving, and teamwork through the games. We finished the day by sharing delicious food together. Many thanks for all the parents!
